Just finished reading
. the case for Christ this morning, and started on the Case for Faith. The books are really superb, and The Case for Faith offers compelling arguments of the existence of God, and it answers the all so popular question:
If there is a God, why is there pain and suffering in this world?
I smiled as I read through one of the arguments; I sorta knew it at the back of my mind all this while, but never found the words to articulate it and I quote from the book, " It is not logically possible to have free will and have no possibility of moral evil."
Yet besides this small phrase from the book, it offers even more solid arguments for the existence of God. Haha.. I wondered if my AS prof has read it. Above all that, it's helped me understand the ways of my Heavenly Father more deeply, and gave me greater insight on what we call Perfect Love.
Do check out the book. The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel. Amen ;)

Watching my cell leader speaking to the group reminded me of one thing.
The personality test, D-I-S-C.
How are they related you say. Well, my cell leader has demonstrated all 4 sides in front of me before.Heh
I watch her I side as she rattles on about how she's gonna miss the reconciliation of the two characters on Da Chang Jin at 10pm later, and her classic " Oh no....How?" . Heh. I hope she's not reading this. I couldn't stop laughing as I watch my spiritual leader went on about why everyone should watch Da Chang Jin.
and her C, how she meticulously considers the schedule of EVERY cell member as she plans the next week's cell group meeting. And how she would disciple ( mentor) 4-5 of us during Bible study, and guide us in our spiritual walk.
and her S, how she almost never decide where to go when she's out with her friends. That anything is fine with her... Haha...
And of cos, her D side. Which I've seen quite a few times during cell group and after service. How she lifts the group up with her edifying and inspiring words. I think the more senior people like Sharon probably have seen that side of her more than me. Heh.
I think what impresses me most about her is her C side. Her level of thought she puts into every member, and the sensitivity she has to every member. Her schedule she has to balance on top of her school is , believe me, more packed than our SMU timetables.
I always tell her I can't believe how she manages her time, and still mantain that kind of poise... Heh, but yet I knew the answer, and she says the same thing.
My dear CGL ( whose name she may prefer to keep private), you're awesome! And also extremely amusing at (alot alot of) times.. Haha..
And thank God, for He brought me to your cell group. =)
